2nd Anniversary

We had such a great time in Las Vegas this past week. We went to a couple Cirque Du Soleil shows, shopped at all the fun shops on the strip, ate some yummy food, tried our luck in the Casinos and relaxed in our hotel. It was really fun.
The first night (our anniversary) relaxed at the hotel, went to Cheesecake Factory (my FAVE) and Mystere at Treasure Island. The show was so amazing! I couldn't believe the talent and strength of those acrobats...Better than olympians! If you haven't seen it, you should! It was a good time.
The second day we slept in, went shopping and then to dinner at Planet Hollywood and to KA the newest Cirque show in the MGM. We stayed in doors pretty much all day because it SNOWED IN THE DESERT!! The radio was saying that it was the first time it snowed like that in Vegas in 30 YEARS! cRaZy! It wasn't very much snow at all but ATC put a ground stop on the McCarran Aiport...which means...no flights in and no flights out! Schools had snow days and roads were closing. Traffic immediately bogged down with inexperienced snow drivers and accidents. It was definitely different...It was a small storm for Utah but in Vegas it about did them in! We had a good laugh.
Anyway, since we heard about the ground stop from the radio guy, we got on the computer and realized that our plane that we were supposed to take out in the morning never made it into Vegas so our flight was cancelled and we had to go to PLAN B.

We decided to have a little more fun while we were there so after KA we spent some time (and money) in the MGM casino. We had a blast with some intense games of Roulette and Blackjack!! We got back to our hotel around 4 AM and went to bed. The next morning we decided to rent a car and drive back to Utah since the Vegas airport was such a nightmare. The drive home went super fast and now we are heading back to work tomorrow to try and make some more money so we can go back soon! ha ha! Well, here's to 2 years of marriage!
