We spent the last couple days in Chicago.
I found the perfect trip on the crew swap board to pick up a couple of weeks ago that had two overnights in Chicago over Valentines day! I quickly called Matt and told him about it. He said, "pick it up!!" with no hesitation. So I snatched it that fast. We have been talking about taking a little trip to Chicago for a long time to go see "Wicked."
Now with a free hotel for two nights, why not go?, right? So we did. While I was on the swap board grabbing this trip to add to my schedule, Matt was on ticketmaster getting us tickets. We had a great time. We spent the whole afternoon on Michigan Avenue downtown and then went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then to Wicked. It was the Best Valentines Ever! Usually that holiday is overrated for me, but Matt really out-did himself this year! Thanks to all those who gave the good advice for us to go see it! It was awesome!
