Yuba

On the way home from my girls trip with Kate I decided to break up my long drive home from Southern Utah so I spent the night at my mom's house.  The next day we decided to take their boat out to Yuba for a couple hours before I had to head to SLC and fly up to Vancouver with Matt for the weekend.  We had a blast!  Thanks Mom, Noni and Kell!!  Summer 2010 has been so much fun this year!  I hadn't been on a boat forever so even though the water was freezing I couldn't resist getting in and wake-boarding and knee-boarding for a bit.  I even surprised myself by still being able to do a 360 on the knee board.  My family always had a boat when we were kids so it felt great to be back out on the water and in the sun.  I love summer!  That was the perfect way to round out my girls trip and I was glad to get home to Matt.

Summa Time

Summer 2008 has come and gone way too fast. I am not ready for the fall and especially winter seasons. Hopefully this winter won't be as long as the last one.
We've had a good summer so far and we hope to squeeze in a few more fun activities.
Last weekend we went to the Manti Fair Demolition Derby! Holy Moly! I had never seen such madness. It was funny how the crowd was so into people destroying their cars. The next day we went camping/boating at Yuba lake with our friends (Mack's owners) Mike and Rainy Tennysen. We had a blast! We made tinfoil dinners the first night and then just stayed up late talking around the fire. The next day on the lake Matt and I both learned how to surf the wake. I thought it would be hard without being strapped in but it wasn't bad. In the next few months we are hoping to get over to Hawaii with the Tennysen's to surf the real wakes!

On Saturday we went up to the Bee's game with Matt's best friend Brad. He recently returned from war with the 145th battalion and they honored them at the game that night, it was neat. I forgot the camera though.

We are also hoping to make it down to Zions National Park for a short camping/hiking trip this next month.

I love the summer life~ I need to live somewhere where it is warm year round!!
